Upper East Side

The Upper East Side, sandwiched between Central Park and the East River, is home to some of NYC's wealthiest residents. Historically a bastian of the upper crust, the UES is a neighborhood featuring tree-lined blocks of elegant and expensive townhouses, as well as numerous high-rise buildings.

The Upper East Side also hosts a large number of world famous art centers and museums, many located on a stretch of 5th Ave along Central Park known as 'Museum Mile'. Featuring the highest of high-end shopping, the Upper East Side hosts the most expensive retail real estate in the world along its premiere shopping strip, Madison Avenue. Despite the high prices that dominate most of the real estate towards Central Park, rents and real estate closer to the East River have become surprisingly affordable within the last decade. Highlights: Museum Mile, Central Park
